The Bawdsey Hall Wildlife Experience hosts a selection of unique photography experiences designed specifically for wildlife photographers and enthusiasts of all skill levels. Whether you’re a complete novice and want to learn the basics of how to use your camera or you’re a professional photographer looking for somewhere with fantastic photographic opportunities, we have a package for you.

Our bespoke workshops cover all aspects of the technical and artistic elements of photography in order to help you get your perfect picture. All workshops will take place out in the field and on the Bawdsey Hall Nature reserve.

Please note that there is not captive bred wildlife at Bawdsey Hall, all species are wild and therefore, not guaranteed.

At Bawdsey Hall our resident expert and Award Winning Wildlife Photographer David Hermon will be on hand to guide you through your sessions and be available to give you as little or as much help as you require.

David has a vast knowledge of wildlife and field craft along with many years of experience in the wildlife photography world and is able to provide an in-depth knowledge of photography from both technical and artistic stand points. He has previously been a judge for the Suffolk Wildlife Trust Photography Competition after winning the overall winner award and several other categories for several years in a row. He has also gained successful recognition, with other publications that include British Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Country-file and many others.

We also work with schools offering Photography Trips and tuition at Bawdsey Hall. Our Photography Workshops are bespoke and we tailor the experience personally to you or your group, If there is something that you would specifically like to learn or photograph then do get in touch and we will see what we can do.
